Someone on the UNICEF Voices of Youth Forum posted this question a long time ago; "Do You Think our World is Fair"?
Here's my reply to the post
I wouldn't say the world is not fair. I believe destiny has a way of putting us where it feels we should start out from. It is then up to us to change our destiny and mould it the way we would want it. Those who are able to shape theirs can then lend a hand to those who couldn't.
A person like Mandela can't say the world hasn't been fair to him because he spent years in jail fighting apartheid cos that served as a stepping stone to greater things for him.
Sometimes you have to go thru hard times like mark cuban to enjoy some privileges in life, it only prepares you for what lies ahead and it doesn't make the world been unfair. We can only be unfair to ourselves by wanting to receive new wine in an old wine skin.
Really, the world has nothing to do with been fair or not. It just drops us where it feels and then its up to us.
